Community Uses...

We have recently secured several planning permissions and resolved enforcement matters for clients in respect of community uses such as educational establishments, childcare facilities and for religious worship (Use Class D1).  Within former industrial and commercial buildings, in each case we have had to put together a strong and robust case to demonstrate that the loss of employment land is acceptable and that the proposed uses are equally appropriate to each site. In most cases our approach has led to the granting of planning permission by the Local Planning Authority.
